What is 1x2 Betting?

While the 1x2 betting is the most popular choice in betting, there are still many who don't know how to place such bets. In 1x2 betting there are 3 possible outcomes, home team to win (1), draw (x) and away team to win (2). Basically the 1x2 notations stands for which result a player will bet on. Now that this is clear, the betting odds are found in different format at online bookmakers, but the most widely used is decimal format (or European format). The decimal odds come as values with 2 digits, and to understand the potential winnings on such odds, a player just multiplies the stake value with the odds value.
